Equity in Action: LGBTIQA+ Inclusion 101 for Organisations (Site-based)

At the end of this session, participants will have: 

• a basic understanding of LGBTIQA+ identities & concepts (gender, sexuality & sex characteristics)
• insight into the ways unconscious bias, assumptions, lived experience, politics & global trends influence the ways we interact with and treat others
• an understanding of the impacts of discrimination on LGBTIQA+ communities, including intersectional marginalisations.
• a clearer understanding of inclusive language, practice and allyship in workplace environments

This course is open to workplaces, organisations, community spaces/groups across any sector.
