This Contraceptive Implant (Implanon NXT) training for registered nurses, midwives and Aboriginal Health Practitioners is an interactive session, incorporating theoretical instruction and simulated practical application.

The Contraceptive Implant (Implanon NXT) Training has two options for enrolment: Face-to-Face and Hybrid.
Face-to-Face Course – Onsite 2-hour theory workshop and simulation training.
Hybrid Course – Online theory module and 1-hour onsite simulation training.
If you are enrolling in the Hybrid course please select the appropriate date for the face-to-face simulation workshop, information on your online theory modules will be sent post-enrolment.
Rural and remote SA Registered Nurses and Midwives are now able to apply for an online adaptation of the Contraceptive Implant (Implanon NXT) Training.
This course will only be open to Registered Nurses and Midwives who work predominantly within a rural zone (Modified Monash Model 3 to 5, check classification here: Health Workforce Locator).
Cost: $225 + $50 refundable deposit for a simulation training pack.
