This course explores modified programs and resources to individualise content and make relationships and sexual health education accessible to children and young people living with a disability.
The course will involve interactive strategies and activities to get a practical understanding of teaching within SHINE SA’s Principles of Best Practice.
The course covers a range of resources and curriculum materials, all mapped to the Australian Curriculum and the Department for Education’s Keeping Safe: Child Protection Curriculum.
Participants will:
Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement and recognition of training and development hours with reference to relevant Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
