Sexual and Reproductive Health Workshop

This interactive workshop has a strong focus on clinical skills including simulated practical training with a speculum. It will increase your knowledge and confidence in reproductive sexual health including contraceptive prescribing, cervical screening, sexual history taking and screening for sexually transmitted infections.

Participants will:

• Learn how to provide contraceptive advice based on the stage of reproductive life
• Develop skills in cervical screening process and procedures
• Be equipped to provide screening for sexually transmitted infections
• Improve skills in sexual history taking
• Engage with simulated practical training.

GP Registrars based in hospital or GPs in their first year of general practice placement will benefit from this workshop.

This training is also suitable for doctors new to general practice in Australia and medical students.
