STI & BBV Workshop for Nurses and Midwives
Participants will gain an understanding of:
- the clinical presentation of STIs and BBVs
- taking a sexual health history
- consultation and counselling
- how and when to test
- routine screening in priority populations
- treatment and management of STIs and BBVs
- partner notification and notifiable infections.

SHINE SA is offering full scholarships for primary healthcare workers working in regional and rural SA to complete our Contraception Workshop for Nurses and Midwives - at no cost you.
Scholarships cover full course fees and accommodation for participants from regional and rural South Australia.

Eligibility
This course is open to nurses, midwives, Aboriginal Health Workers/Practitioners, AMIC workers and other health workers who are interested in developing their knowledge of STIs and BBVs.
