SHINE SA Introduces a Free Webinar Series for Parents and Carers on Relationships and Sexual Health Education

SHINE SA is excited to announce a series of relationships and sexual health webinars tailored to South Australian parents and carers.

SHINE SA recognises the importance of family and carers as a valuable source of relationships and sexual health information, education and values. We’re committed to providing parents and carers with accurate and up to date information on relationships and sexual health to support their young people. 

In our upcoming webinars, starting in March, our educators will provide information on diverse topics that relate to SHINE SA’s Relationship and Sexual Health Curriculum. We’ll also highlight the various services, resources and support available to young people and carers.  

The upcoming topics that will be covered are:  

• puberty
  
• online relationships and navigating explicit content 
• sexual and gender diversity 
• the importance of introducing Relationships and Sexual Health education to Year 3 & 4 students
   

Presented over Zoom, the webinars are free and will run for 1.5 hours in the afternoon.
