SHINE SA Will Open Davoren Park Clinic to Deliver Sexual and Reproductive Health Services

SHINE SA is opening its clinic in Davoren Park, placing a strong focus on increasing access to cervical screening while also delivering a wide range of essential sexual and reproductive health services — including contraception, STI testing and treatment.

Clinical services at our Davoren Park clinic will be available from 14 July 2025. To learn more about this clinic, visit: www.shinesa.org.au/davorenpark

This opening is made possible through funding from the Australian Government and South Australian Government through Preventive Health SA and SA Health, with a particular focus on improving access to cervical screening in communities that face barriers to access.

Sexual and reproductive health is essential to overall wellbeing, but these services are too often out of reach — particularly for people in northern Adelaide. This clinic will provide safe, inclusive, and affordable care in a community where it is most needed.

The clinic will also serve as a cervical screening training and service hub supporting the local workforce including nurses, midwives, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners to provide high-quality cervical screening care.

Accessible, community-based services like this play an important role in removing barriers, providing education, and ensuring care reflects the needs of the community.

This initiative directly supports South Australia’s goals for better preventive health and aligns with the national target to eliminate cervical cancer by 2035.

More information about our Davoren Park clinic including training opportunities will be announced soon.
