Join SHINE SA as a Medical Administration Officer! 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Medical Administration Officer (MAO) to join our team at Davoren Park. This 12-month fixed-term position offers a regular work schedule of one day per week, every Monday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

There will also be opportunities to work additional days across other SHINE SA sites to provide leave coverage and support the wider team.

About the Role: 

As a Medical Administration Officeryou’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Clinical Team. This position is perfect for someone with exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for making a difference. You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, helping to create a welcoming and supportive environment.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide professional, responsive medical reception services  
  • Schedule and manage client appointments  
  • Maintain accurate client records and support clinical operations  
  • Processing Medicare payments 
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including mail, facility management, and financial data  
  • Contribute to a positive client experience and uphold SHINE SA’s values  

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills  
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team  
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in clinical administration  
  • Commitment to equity, social justice, and the diverse needs of our communities
