Sarah Bartholomeusz

Sarah joined the SHINE SA board in 2022. She is the Founder and Principal of award-winning commercial law firm, You Legal. You Legal helps doctors legally protect their practice, patients and profits. She has over 20 years’ experience as a lawyer, and an active practice in corporate and commercial law. Sarah is passionate about working with practice managers and practice owners to minimise their risks and maximise their potential. In addition to her B.A. and LL.B from the University of Adelaide, Sarah has a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia Ltd, of which she is a Fellow. Sarah is also a Facilitator for the Australian Institute of Directors Company Director’s Course and a Member of the Law Society of South Australia.

Sarah has written three books on governance, is a TEDx speaker and hosts the successful podcasts, ‘Accountants on Purpose’ and ‘Hacking Health.’

In addition to her business and publishing, Sarah is a Board Member for Maxima, a not-for-profit NDIS provider with a long history in offering employment and disability supports. She also co-chairs the 40 Under 40 Solstice Media 40 Under 40 Alumni Committee and volunteers as a Member Leader within the global non-profit the Entrepreneur’s Organisation.
