Lauren Kilsby

Lauren Kilsby joined the SHINE SA Board in 2025, bringing extensive expertise in advocacy, strategic communications, and government relations. She is the General Manager of Advocacy at Hutt St Centre, South Australia’s leading homelessness specialist, which has supported the community for over 70 years.

In her role, Lauren leads fundraising, philanthropy, partnerships, communications, and advocacy, driving meaningful engagement with stakeholders across sectors. In 2024, her team was named SA’s Fundraising Team of the Year by the Fundraising Institute of Australia.

With over 20 years of advocacy experience spanning healthcare, finance, and defence industries, she is deeply committed to creating positive social change through strategic influence, education, and collaboration. Lauren’s background in politics and government has shaped her expertise in contemporary management practices, media relations, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and change management.

Beyond her role at Hutt St Centre, Lauren serves as an  Board Member for St Therese School, and is the Executive representative on the Hutt St Centre Foundation Committee.
