Jessica Willis

Jessica Willis

Director, Clinical and Counselling Services Division

Jessica (she/her) joins SHINE SA from Family Planning Tasmania, where she led the delivery of non profit sexual and reproductive health care services state-wide as Clinical Services Manager.

Following a career in non-profit communications and stakeholder engagement, Jessica discovered her true calling in the healthcare and community sector when offered an opportunity to move into clinical coordination and management. In this role, she saw how life-changing and empowering great sexual and reproductive health could be, but simultaneously how difficult it is for many people in our society to access the essential care they need. She is now driven by a desire to address healthcare inequities and deliver quality and compassionate care to people regardless of their circumstances.

Jessica has a passion for collaboration and communication and a strong focus on quality improvement, clinical governance, engaging with health consumers, organisational culture, and new service and project development.

Jessica has a degree in political science, has recently completed a Diploma of Leadership in Healthcare from the University of New England and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Clinical Governance.
