Christopher Thorpe

B. Ed (Primary)

Christopher (he/him) is passionate about leading the development and support of South Australian workforces to engage with best-practice comprehensive relationships, sexual health and reproductive health education and provision of trusted information.

Following a career that includes administrative and financial services, information technology consulting, and primary school teaching, Christopher joined the Schools Education and Support Team in early 2020 as a Schools Coordinator. Later that year, he acted as manager for the Team and continued in this role for another two years before taking up his current role.

His inclusive and collaborative leadership style seeks to support divisional managers to draw upon the strength of each member of their Team in ways that foster pride and ownership of the work at hand. SHINE SA’s vision, values and purpose resonate deeply with him.
