SHINE SA is a key sexual and reproductive health agency in South Australia. We are a not-for-profit, non-government organisation working in partnership with government, health, education and community agencies, and communities to improve the sexual and reproductive health and relationship wellbeing of South Australians. SHINE SA operates from two sites located in the Adelaide CBD and Woodville and is a Rainbow Tick Accredited organisation.

SHINE SA is seeking a Clinical Psychologist who shares the values and attitudes that celebrate sexual and gender diversity and LGBTQIA+ inclusivity, with a particular interest in working with the Trans and Gender Diverse community to join our Hyde St Practice on a Facilities Contract basis.

SHINE SA’s Hyde St Practice is located in the Adelaide CBD and is an AGPAL accredited site providing wraparound services including General Practitioners, Specialist Sexual Health Physician services, Sexual and Reproductive Health clinical services, Rapido HIV Point of Care testing, sessional psychologist services, Trans and Gender Diverse services, SAMESH and the Bobbie Goldsmith Foundation. The Hyde St Practice operates Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Registered as a provider under Medicare as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Unrestricted MBS provider number
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Valid ABN number
  • Current and satisfactory Working with Children Check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Dedicated, reliable and self-driven individual, who is keen to be part of friendly and supportive team environment
  • Experience and proficiency in clinical assessment and report writing
