This short course, facilitated by experienced educators, explores the information, skills and strategies needed create safer spaces at school for students who are gender diverse.
This course considers the unique challenges of being LGBTIQA+ in the school setting and unpacks the role of school staff in ensuring safe and supportive environments. Through activities and discussions, participants will have the opportunity to expand their own knowledge and understanding of gender diversity and inclusive practice.

This course is designed for those working in an education setting, including teachers, leadership staff, SSOs and admin.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance that references the relevant Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
$65 for Department for Education staff
$85 for non-government school/other organisation staff
$35 for pre-service teachers
