Cervical Screening Options and Improving Uptake Through Self-Collection

Dr Amy Moten will present an update on cervical screening options and highlight the importance of primary care in increasing screening participation rates.

This update will cover practical implementation of changes in the HPV self-collection pathway, assessment criteria for self-collection and improving the uptake of cervical screening among transgender and gender diverse people.

Course Outline

 Participants will cover:

  • how to practically implement the changes to the HPV self-collection pathway
  • how to assess the suitability of patients for HPV self collection using the National Cervical Screening guidelines
  • improving screening rates among transgender and gender diverse people.
