This course considers the unique challenges of supporting young people in alternative schooling. Discussions will be tailored for the specific contexts participants are working in.
Through activities, demonstrations and discussions, participants will have the opportunity to expand their own knowledge and understanding while also exploring ways to engage young people in learning about relationships and sexual health topics.
Topics covered include:
Participants will receive access to a digital file of resources and a certificate of achievement and recognition for training and development.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement and recognition of training and development hours with reference to relevant Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
This course is for educators and support workers in alternative schooling settings (e.g. Flexible Learning Options (FLO) providers, Independent Learning Centres, Better Behaviour Centres, External Education, Home Education etc.)
